Alwoodley C.C.

Welcome to the website of Alwoodley Cricket Club

Welcome to the Alwoodley Cricket Club website. Alwoodley C.C. play in the Airedale and Wharfedale Senior Cricket League. We have two Senior teams, Sunday Friendly Team and Junior teams. The Junior section play in the Airedale and Wharfedale Junior Cricket League.

This week saw mixed fortunes for the club. The first team started their season with a HUGE 6 points. The seconds game was washed out although they did get ne point from their first game back in Division 2.

This week sees the First team entertain the Thackley Tripods, the second team travel to Pool.

The Under 17's were due to make their first appearance Wednesday, but due to the poor weather, the game has been cancelled.

The Under 13's will travel to Rawdon on Friday to take on the Rockets. The Under 13's will be playing their first game of non-pairs cricket. Can Barre's brigade bring home the points?

Alwoodley is looking for new players for the 2008 season. If you are interested in playing cricket, juniors or seniors, please contact the club.
